AboutKalvi is made by AvanceZone in Sulur, Coimbatore. Not a national platform with a Tamil Nadu landing page — a Tamil Nadu product that happens to work anywhere.

If you are within driving distance and want someone in the room for your first setup, ask. That is one of the few advantages a local vendor has over a national one, and we would rather use it than pretend otherwise.
School software in Tamil Nadu tends to arrive in one of two shapes: a one-time licence from a small local firm that stops being updated the year after you buy it, or a national platform that meters you per student and treats Tamil as a translation job rather than a first language. Neither is built around what a matriculation school actually does in a week — mark attendance, collect fees, issue receipts, publish marks, and file to EMIS.
So Kalvi is deliberately narrow. It does those things properly, in English and Tamil, at a price a 300-student school can pay without a committee meeting, and it opens in a browser so no parent has to install anything.
Kalvi is a new product. We do not have a wall of school logos, and we are not going to borrow one — every "trusted by 500+ schools" badge you have seen on a competitor's site was true on some date, for some definition of trusted, and you have no way to check either.
If being an early customer is a risk you would rather not take, that is a completely reasonable position. Talk to us anyway — we would rather tell you honestly that we are not ready for your school than sign you and disappoint you.
